Deodorant v. Antiperspirant: What’s the Difference?

What is the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant?

The primary difference between antiperspirants and deodorants is ingredients.

The main ingredient in antiperspirants is aluminum, an ingredient regulated by the FDA. Aluminum acts as a plug to your cell’s sweat ducts, and reduces the amount of sweat your body is able to excrete. Simply put, the goal of aluminum is to prevent you from sweating.

Deodorants such as Native do not contain aluminum. Rather than prevent wetness, Native Deodorant works to absorb it, while still eliminating odors.
