What's the difference between deodorant and anti-perspirant?

Anti-perspirant prevents you from sweating. That is, the aluminum contained in anti-perspirant acts as a plug on your body’s sweat ducts and prevents you from sweating and releasing other byproducts of sweat. Deodorant works by eliminating and absorbing the moisture and odors associated with sweat.

Does it take time to adjust after I switch deodorants?

While it can take your body up to two weeks in order to adjust to Native, most people are able to make the switch instantly and successfully!

What does switching to Native Deodorant feel like?

After two weeks of use, Native Deodorant will feel cleaner and simpler than traditional deodorants. We recommend you use it for two weeks because that is the amount of time your body will require to purge itself of the aluminum and other chemicals that remain under your arm after you make the switch. 

Native Deodorant is applied easily and will offer you effective protection against odors and wetness.

What is the difference between the women's and men's deodorants?

The only difference between our men’s and women’s deodorants are the scents! Both have the same high-performance, award-winning formula!

Is Native Deodorant cruelty-free?

Yes, Native Deodorant is cruelty-free.  We never test on animals, except humans who volunteer to try Native.

We ship to the United States, Canada, Australia Mate, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

What does it mean to subscribe to Native Deodorant?

A subscription to Native Deodorant allows you to receive one bar or multiple bars of Native Deodorant at a consistent frequency. This way, you never run out of Native! Native Deodorant is $12 per deodorant if you purchase individually, or $10 per deodorant if you subscribe.

First things first, please note that you are not obligated to subscribe to Native Deodorant when making a purchase. You can purchase bars individually or opt-in and subscribe. By default, you are not subscribed to Native Deodorant. In order to subscribe, simply check the “SUBSCRIBE & SAVE 17%” checkbox on the CART page as you checkout. Please note that certain items, such as seasonal scents, are not available through a subscription, since they are available only for a limited time.

Once you have subscribed, you will be in complete control of your subscription. You can change the scents you receive, the frequency you receive them or even your next shipping date at any time. In addition, you can update your address, cancel your subscription, or skip a shipment at any time simply by logging into your account.

What are the ingredients used to make Native Deodorant?

We use caprylic/capric triglyceride, tapioca starch, ozokerite, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), magnesium hydroxide, coconut oil, cyclodextrin, shea butter, dextrose, and L. Acidophilus (probiotic). Our scented deodorants include a proprietary blend of oils. Due to FDA recommendations, we use the term fragrance to refer to these oils.

What are the ingredients used to make Native Bar Soap?

Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water, Glycerin, Sodium Gluconate, Shea Butter, Palm Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Coconut Oil, Sodium Chloride, Palm Kernel Acid. Our scented bar soaps include a proprietary blend of oils. Due to FDA recommendations, we use the term fragrance to refer to these oils. All palm ingredients are sustainably harvested.

What are the ingredients used to make Native Body Wash?

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl
Sarcosinate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Salicylate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid. Our scented body washes include a proprietary blend of oils. Due to FDA recommendations, we use the term fragrance to refer to these oils.

Is Native Deodorant made with talc?

No. Native Deodorant is made without talc.

Is Native Deodorant made with aluminum?

No. Native Deodorant is made without aluminum.

Is Native Deodorant made with parabens?

No. Native Deodorant is made without parabens.

Where is it made?

All of our manufacturing facilities are in the United States.

What if I have a baking soda allergy?

We formulated deodorants specifically for those who are sensitive to baking soda. Check out Coconut & Vanilla (Sensitive) or Cotton & Lily (Sensitive). The formula does not contain baking soda. You can check them out here!

Is Native Deodorant made with phthalates?

No. Native Deodorant is made without phthalates.

Is Native Deodorant gluten-free?

Yes. Native Deodorant is gluten-free.

How much is shipping? (it's free!)

Shipping is free on all orders to the United States, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. We also offer expedited shipping within the United States for $10.

What is your return policy?

We love the deodorants we make and think you will, too. If you don’t enjoy your first package from Native, let us know so that we can help you return or exchange your products within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.

In fact, we’re so confident that you’ll love Native that we’ll even cover the cost of return shipping if you choose not to keep your first package.

Please note that we’re not able to accept returns or exchanges for orders shipped internationally, or for .35oz mini deodorant bars. In addition, expedited shipping fees are non-refundable.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order with your order number here.

Please note that it often takes the service carrier 24-48 hours to scan a package and then update the tracking information within their system. Rest assured that your order has shipped and is on its way to you! You should be able to see an update within 2 business days of shipment. 

How long will it take to get my package?

We ship out all orders within one to two business days.

Within the United States, your package will arrive 3-7 days after shipping. If you purchase expedited shipping, your package will arrive two business days after it is shipped.

Within Canada, Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, your package will arrive 7-12 days after shipping. If you purchase expedited shipping, your package will arrive faster, but we cannot guarantee delivery times internationally.

Can I expedite my order?

Yes!

We offer UPS 2 Day Shipping within the United States for $10, regardless of the size of your order. This allows for you to receive your package 2 business days after it is shipped. Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable. Please note that if you are shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, PO Boxes, or a US Territory, expedited shipping may take additional time but will be faster than our free shipping method.

Do you allow for exchanges?

Yes! Exchanges are available on your first order from Native for 30 days after you receive your package. If you are interested in exchanging your deodorant, send a note to support@nativecos.com.

Please note that exchanging your deodorant will void the return policy. In addition, we’re not able to accept exchanges with respect to orders shipped internationally or for .35oz mini deodorants.
